Calling All Emerging Leaders!

In order to expand our intergenerational coalition, New Profit is inviting young leaders to participate in The Well as “Emerging Leaders”. This cohort will include young people between the ages of 21-25 with demonstrated leadership potential in the areas of advocacy, organizing, intergenerational movement-building and storytelling – and with a concentrated interest in New Profit’s primary issue areas: Education, Economic Mobility, and/or Democracy.

Together, we will explore shared challenges and opportunities, and co-design pathways and solutions to expand access and opportunity in America. We will do so in a way that supports our individual and collective wellbeing.

This is an opportunity to connect with 450+ funders, social entrepreneurs, and ecosystem leaders that are among the foremost thought-leaders in our country, amplifying solutions and building opportunities in the areas of education, economic mobility, and democracy.
• Amplify your voice as we cultivate multi-racial, intergenerational, cross-sector coalitions for change. We aim to intentionally elevate the voices of young leaders, who may not often get a seat at the table.
• Foster connection across lines of difference for the purpose of greater understanding across diversity of experiences. Help create a cohesive coalition working towards social change.

Eligibility Criteria for Emerging Leaders:

Before applying, please consider the following eligibility criteria:

• You are able to attend all three days of The Well in Baltimore, MD (November 11-13, 2024)
• You are between the ages of 21 and 25 during the event
• You are able to participate in two prep webinars prior to The Well. The purpose of these webinars is to assist with orientation, prepare participants for what to expect during The Well, and build relationships with other Emerging Leaders and the New Profit team who will serve as points-of-contacts during the event.

Transportation and lodging will be covered by New Profit and food will be provided.
