The YNPN National Conference & Leaders Institute connects young nonprofit leaders from across the country providing them with space to rekindle inspiration, grow their own leadership, and learn new tools to improve their communities.
On August 11-14, 2017 conference participants will engage with peers through interactive workshops, presentations, and local tours in the following areas:
Awareness to Lead: Leverage your strengths as well as unique personal, professional, and cultural experience as a leader while developing awareness of your privileges and blind spots to grow your cultural competencies for more inclusive leadership.
Tools to Facilitate Change: Build concrete skills to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion through organizational policies and structures as well as interpersonal interactions. How can you propose and implement these changes from whatever position you hold?
Knowledge to Navigate New Challenges: Improve your understanding of how national and local policies and events affect the work of the social sector. Explore how to stay informed on these issues and respond accordingly.
Connections for Inspiration and Collaboration: Developing a supporting network is vital in a sector deeply impacted by burnout. Create space and connections for healing and inspiration so you can return to your work replenished.
Join us in Atlanta for this engaging, thought-provoking, restorative conference and meet with a diverse cross-section of leaders in the social sector.
