TO-DO'S

  • Bring an updated copy of your resume: We will be doing peer reviews and you will need to have a copy of yours on hand in order to make that session useful to you. If you do not have access to a printer, you can print your resume here at the office. Just be sure that it is saved online or e-mailed so that it can be easily downloaded and printed on one of our office computers.
  • Take the Strong Interest Inventory by next Friday, May 4! (If you haven't already):  The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is a widely used career assessment that will help you discern between different careers based on the interests that you have, the fields you like to study, the activities and hobbies that you are most passionate about, the types of people you prefer to interact with, and personal characteristics that you most value.  In order to take the test, follow these instructions.
  • Optional: Send us a copy of your resume ahead of time if you are willing to let us use it as an example that we can workshop together. I'd like to have at least 2 resumes from folks who are willing to have them shared with the group.
  • Food Allergies: If you have any major food allergies, please let us know! We will be providing vegetarian options. If you are vegan, gluten free, etc. please respond leave a comment
