FoodCorps alumni and current service members interested in pursuing health professions are invited to attend an online webinar call organized by fellow FoodCorps alumni on Tues, May 15 at 12-1pm HST/3-4pm PST/5-6pm CST/6-7pm EST.
The webinar will feature a panel of speakers in the health professions who will share their perspectives and experiences in a moderated Q-and-A format. The aim of the call is to highlight and explore career possibilities for those interested in serving communities as healthcare professionals.
There are two parts to the call:
Webinar platform: Cisco Webex platform, can join by using video/audio capability on computer (similar to a Skype call) OR by calling in.
We hope to build a network of FoodCorps alumni and service members who can support each other in pursuing a career in healthcare. Attendees are encouraged to join the Aspiring or Current Health Professionals group in FoodCorps Connect.
The webinar is hosted by Monica Chen (PY 16, New York) and Brianna Egan (PY 17, California).
